THE CARAVAN HOTEL, Thessaloniki | Escape to Greece

The Caravan is a very small bed and breakfast with 13 rooms and variety of room types. The renovated neoclassical building located in1 Rempelou street was built in 1929 and originally it was used as a small 'seragio'. The seragio's were inns that hosted travellers. It was subsequently used as a residence for is owners. In 1998 with the decision of the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace the building was designated as a listed property. Later in 2001 it was leased and restored by the National Bank. In the late 2015, the building would operate as the city's modern bed and breakfast, standing respectfully towards its history throughout centuries. All in all, everything ends up the way they started. As a modern serayo.

The Caravan Coffee is open to all the locals and travellers from 08:00- 22:00 every single day! It is non-smoking and you can feel its traveling mood tasting its flavored coffee, the traditional Greek coffee, the 'secret' recipe of the homemade lemonade, the 'submarine' vanilla, the 'biskotoloukoumo', the customized special cocktails, drinks and its unique snacks.
