Here the guests will find one separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and in the living room two separate single beds, built-in, with coconut mattresses and anatomic pillows, kitchen, bathroom and storeroom; built-in sofas with comfortable seats and closets; cupboards and open wall closets for the kitchenware, Fresh towels and soft bathrobes offer a warm, welcoming feeling, just as expected.

This is where the family’s possessions used to be stowed, now turned into a welcoming guestroom with the capacity to host up to 7 guests, either families or groups of friends. A serene ambient with the typical Venetian sophisticated air, yet perfectly in tune with the island’s buoyant atmosphere. 

Spacious and imposing, one cannot help but noticing the place’s robust wooden beams known as “boudelia” a term used by the local seamen for the wooden poles that support boats when parked aground. The dominating elements are those of the local marble stone and wood, well-balanced and bound within the towering walls. 

Here the guests will find two separate bedrooms, a comfortable double bed, a king-size bed and three single beds, built-in, with coconut mattresses and anatomic pillows, the kitchen, bathroom and storeroom; built-in sofas with comfortable seats and wooden closets that used to belong to Ioanna; cupboards and open wall closets for the kitchenware, as well as traditional showcase shelves for the china. Like the rest of the house, the dominating element in the bathroom is stone. Fresh towels and soft bathrobes offer a warm, welcoming feeling, just as expected. A convenient storeroom is also available to meet the guests’ needs. 

Mezzanine guestroom – 40m² for up to 3 guests.

Up the stairs, to the right, the guest will find the mezzanine floor that used to serve as a covert way to the kitchen for the lady of the house to pass unnoticed. Through this, the guest is now led to a 40m² second guestroom, with all the typical local architecture and decoration features the polished support beams, the wooden ceiling, the wood-binding inside the stone walls. 

This room has a beautiful metallic double bed, a valuable possession of the family, refurbished with a hypo-allergic, anatomic coconut mattress and custom-made bedding. The setting is completed by the wooden furniture, carefully selected by Ioanna herself, now also refurbished for the guests to enjoy. 

The two windows give to the little circular square and allow the light to come through all day long. The bathroom is made of stone and black and white tiles, perfectly in tune with the atmosphere of the house. Here the guest will find fresh bathrobes and towels, comfortable slippers, fragrant soap and toiletries tasteful interventions of the present in the frugal necessities of the past.
